【摘要】:ThisPubliclyAvailableSpecificationestablishesasystemofuniform,repeatableproceduresandstandardmethodsformeasuringspecifiedproductcharacteristicsofportablehouseholdelectricroomaircleaners.Thestandardmethodsprovideameanstocompareandevaluatedifferentbrandsofportablehouseholdelectricroomaircleanersregardingcharacteristicssignificanttoproductuse.Thestandardmethodsofmeasurementarenotintendedtoinhibitimprovementandinnovationinproducttesting,designorperformance.ThisstandardmethodappliestoportablehouseholdelectricroomaircleanersasdefinedinClause3.Thisstandardmethodincludesdefinitionsandsafetycharacteristicsofportablehouseholdelectricroomaircleanersofthetypesindicated.Thisstandardmethodmeasurestherelativereductionbytheaircleanerofparticulatemattersuspendedintheairinaspecifiedtestchamber.Italsoprescribesamethodformeasuringtheoperatingpowerandstandbypoweroftheaircleaner.Thisstandardmethodhasdefinedlimitsofmeasurabilitybasedonthestatisticalaccuracyofthemethods.Basedona95%confidencelimit(2standarddeviations),acleanairdeliveryrate(CADR)(see3.5)cannotbedistinguishedbetweenzero(0)andaCADRratinglessthanthoseCADRlimitsshownbelow.Therefore,thisPASonlyappliestoaircleanerswithminimumCADRratingsof:DustCADR=10cfmCigarettesmokeCADR=10cfmPollenCADR=25cfmThemaximumCADRvaluesaredeterminedbasedontheoreticalmaximumlimits.Thetheoreticalmaximumlimitsaredeterminedbythemaximumnumberofinitialavailableparticles,theacceptableminimumnumberofavailableparticles,anaveragebackgroundnaturaldecayrate(fromstatisticalstudy),thesizeofthechamber,andtheavailableminimumexperimenttime.CADRvaluesgreaterthanthoselistedwillnothavethenecessarystatisticaldatarequiredbythismethod.Therefore,thedocumentonlyappliestoaircleanerswithmaximumCADRratingsof:DustCADR=400cfmCigarettesmokeCADR=450cfmPollenCADR=450cfmTheprecisionofthisdocumentasbasedona0CADRaircleanerexpressedas2standarddeviationlimits(95%)are:DustCADR=±10cfmCigaretteSmokeCADR=±10cfmPollenCADR=±25cfm
